Fussy and Fancy DT Card--Halloween or Fall!

Hello and happy Friday! Today's Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge asks you to do a Halloween or Fall card! Well, I love to make Halloween cards, so here is my first one of the year! The image is from Bugaboo stamps, a digi, and the paper is from Basic Grey--one of my favorite paper companies!

I put the Glossy Accents on the "Boo" and Stickles on the cobweb. These stamps are from Hobby Lobby.

Here's a picture of the inside and the back.

I really love this paper!! I hope you'll hope on over to Fussy and Fancy and take the challenge this time! Thanks for looking and happy stampin'! Lisa

Fussy and Fancy DT Project--Try a New Technique!

Hello everyone and happy Friday! Fussy and Fancy Challenge has issued something fun this time! We want you to try a new technique! Hop on over to the blog and check it out!

This time, I tried digi scrapbooking! I've made several pages over the last few weeks and have really enjoyed it. I have so many family photos it seems I can never keep up, but the digi scrapbooking seems to make it easier. Wondering how to get started in digi scrapbooking? I will share the forum that I found that has really helped me. It is called Gotta Pixel, and the ladies there are very friendly and helpful. Just make an account and hop on and introduce yourself. They have challenges and a store and just a bunch of fun stuff!

The digi kit that I used for my scrapbook page today is:

It was really a fun kit to work with, and lots of nice possibilities, so I know I'll use it again.

I hope you have a few minutes to join us over at Fussy and Fancy this time! Thanks for looking and happy stampin'! Lisa

Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge--Back to School Projects!

Hello and thank you for stopping by my blog today! Today over at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge, the challenge is Back to School! I love this time of year, it is even better than New Year's for me. I get to start over again along with my kiddos, and my college professor hubby. It's pretty much all-school all-the-time at our house!

For my card today, I used Basic Grey's Oxford papers and a new Magnolia stamp called Cool Edwin. I really love this stamp!

I also used the nifty brads from the Basic Grey Oxford collection. Very cool!

Thank you for looking today, and hop on over to the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge to get the details. I can't wait to see what you all come up with for our Back to School Challenge! Thanks for looking and happy stampin'! Lisa

Very Late Fussy and Fancy DT Card!

I am so late for this week's challenge over at Fussy and Fancy! But better late than never, right?!

Creative Inspirations DT Project--Back to School!

Hello everyone! Today at Creative Inspriations, our challenge is Summertime!

Check it out here:

I've used a Stampavie stamp with my My Mind's Eye Gertie papers. To me, the primary colors say back to school, and when I think I back to school, I can't help but think of one-room school houses. These kids look like they've just finished their lunch from their lunch pails and are sharing their McGuffy's reader.

I hope you'll check our and try our challenge this time, particularly because we are sponsored by the wonderful Simon Says Stamp--they are giving us a $10 gift certificate as a prize!

A couple more pix and I'll leave you to go check out the challenge and make your own back to school project! Thanks for looking and happy stampin'! Lisa :-)
