Fussy and Fancy Friday DT Card--Embossing and/or Paper Piecing!

Good morning and happy Friday! This week at Fussy and Fancy Friday, one of our newest DT members, Celine, has set a challenge of

Embossing and/or Paper Piecing

This time, since I am working to get better at coloring, I just did the embossing part. I used my Rose embossing folder, which is a European edition from Cuttlebug.

This is a paper pad from Graphic 45, called Once Upon a Springtime. I got it from Robyn over at Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium

This week, you can win a really cute stamp set from Paper Pretties

Thank you for looking and happy stampin'! Lisa :-)

My Card for Just Magnolia

Hello! Just a quick post to show a new birthday card I made. I'd like to enter it in Just Magnolia, which is "My Favorite Things." This card has a bunch of my favorite things--I love pink, I love my Magnolias, I really love the beaded pins I've been making, and I love birthdays! Says it all, I think!! :-) Thanks for looking and visiting my blog! Hope you're having a great weekend! Lisa :-)

My First Valentine's Day Card!

I think this card may be for my sweet little 4YO DS! But you never know, I might come up with an even cuter one--this is only my first one. I used this week's Sweet Stop sketch. They always come up with such cute sketches!

I made this for the Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium Non-Digi Day Challenge. It also meets the following challenges that I'd like to enter:

The Sweet Stop

Thanks for looking and happy stampin'! Lisa

Good morning and thank you for visiting! Today over at Fussy and Fancy, one of our DT members, Mindy, has designed a really pretty sketch for the challenge this time. Hop on over and have a look and I hope you decide to enter our challenge!

For my card, I used a Digi Doodles design, who is our sponsor for our challenge this time.

I made it a birthday card--can't ever have too many of those!

Our new DT members have joined us this week--I hope you visit their blogs too. There are some beautiful projects this time, as always! Looking forward to seeing yours, too! Thanks for looking and happy stampin'! Lisa :-)

Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge--First Year Celebration!

Good morning and welcome to the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge First Year Celebration! The challenge this time is to make a celebration gift and matching card.

At my house, we're still celebrating Christmas, until the 6th of January--Epiphany, Twelfth Night. . . so my gift is a candle to light at night. I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! I look forward to playing along with you all year at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge! Won't you join us for the first challenge of the New Year--our First Year Celebration?

I followed the stamped candle tutorial over at Splitcoast Stampers to make my candle. Easy Cheese!

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/stamping_on_candles/

I saw the basic idea over at Janiel's blog, and had to give it a try.

I hope you'll be inspired to try one too--the lady on the tutorial is right--use an inexpensive candle. I tried it on both a Hobby Lobby el-cheapo one and a on a candle from Pier One, and the el-cheapo one worked much better!

Thanks for looking and happy stampin'! Happy New Year! Lisa
