Hello everyone! I've been taking a short break from cardmaking, as the kiddos were asking me to make some clothes for their American Girl Dolls--which has been super fun! But, since I have my sewing machine out, I was able to play with my machine's fancy stitches and make this card for Simon Says Stamp's Challenge this week. As you know, it's Greta's Designer Spotlight week! They are almost to their goal of 200 entries! Wouldn't it be great if they got to 200 on Greta's Week?! Pop on by and enter!

Good morning! The challenge over at Simon Says Stamp is to do an Oriental theme. That was perfect because I had the O Happy Day set from Simon Says Stamp that I won in some blog candy from Heidi! It is a really cute set, and was easy to do the paper piecing with. I had some Origami paper, and voila! An Oriental card. It was a fun challenge, thank you as always, ladies! Lisa :-)

My Entry for Friday Sketchers--and One from 5 YO DD Sophie!

Happy Labor Day! We spent some of the day making cards. DD 5 year old Sophie and I made cards with a digi stamp from Digital Delights and a sketch from this week's Friday Sketchers.
