Another Money Holder--But for A Different Purpose!

Good morning! Happy Mother's Day, hope all mommys have a good one! Well, this card has a bit of a story with it. . .early yesterday morning I was working on this money holder. I was experimenting and trying to make one that is a little bigger than the one I made by Jacqui's pattern the other day. My 5-year-old came in and said, "Mommy! Let's give this to my ballet teacher at my recital today!" Greta idea, right?! Especially since it had not even entered my mind to give her poor teacher anything for the end of the year!!

The only problem was that the recital started in just a bit over two hours! I was just about to stop working and get everyone ready. But, this was really a good idea, and we thought we might be able to finish in time. I had the card all pasted together, and really all it lacked was the image and something for the pocket. We decided to make a little notecard to go in the pocket, so I cut that and got Sophie going on writing a note for her teacher. Her class was dancing to "Feed the Birds" from Mary Poppins, so Sophie chose this Whiff of Joy stamp, which we thought was very appropriate! So, we got this sweet card put together for her teacher, ate breakfast, got Sophie's hair fixed, her costume on, her extra costume and other items together on a hanger and got out the door with 10 minutes to spare! Even though it was a rush to finish and the coloring and embellishment is not my best, Sophie's teacher loved her card! So another day saved by cardmaking, ladies! And Sophie's dancing was wonderful, super cute, of course!! :-)

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Color Throwdown--rose red, tempting turquoise, kiwi kiss

Thanks for looking, and happy stampin'! Lisa
